Glass Jars: Not Always for Storing! Some Unexpected Usages of Empty Glass Jars!

Do you ever find yourself with an empty glass jar left over from a treat somebody left at your house, and you don't know the first thing about it? Glass jars are great for home storing and preserving, but there are hundreds, if not thousands, of other uses for these clear glass jars!

Glass jars are a simple yet beautiful way to bring beauty and practicality into your home and beyond. Theyre a cheap way to increase storage in your house, add flair to a special event, or build something unique and lovely. Theyre also adaptable, so you may use them in any part of your house!

The following are the most common uses of glass jars. They are used for storing spices, salts, snacks, cereal, honey and more.

Filling or wrapping old glass jars with LED string lights is a unique method to reuse them. This is also a fantastic festival or party decoration idea. Take it a step further by meticulously hanging a slew of them throughout your home.

Cover your current light fittings with glass jars. Measure the size of the light and choose the appropriate jar opening size. Tinted or painted glass jars may also be used to make stunning chandeliers and unusual lighting displays. Light kits are also available, which may be used to make a novel light by combining them with oddly shaped glass jars.

Fill a jar with decoration to match your kitchen/dining room and place it in the center of the table. Or, use the jar as a vase and bring in fresh flowers for the table.

Similar to the table centerpiece, use the jars as decor in the kitchen. We have a few jars on the tops of our cabinets. Our kitchen has a wine theme so I have a few empty jars on the cabinets. You could also use them for corks or find some vintage kitchen utensils to decorate with.

Make a sidewalk lantern by putting a few inches of sand/stone in the bottom of the Mason jar, and then nestling a tea light candle into the sand/stone.
